In case of delayed ovulation, Anovulation with fallicular growth. Atretic fallicles failure of follicles to ovulate that couse fallicular cyst and corpora lutea could not form. The process is complex. Ovulation is largely under endocrine control with effect of FSH & LH hormones. Follicular wall become flaccid ovum with follicular fluid is caught by fimbriated end of oviduct as ovulation approaches. There in marked increase in tonicity oedema and motility of fimbrae clasps ovary to receive egg under control of estrogen with the beating of cilia and peristaltic movement of oviduct causes ova reach the site of fertilization. There are many reason like seasonal stress, negative energy balance, Uterine pathology, mucocervisits, stenosis of cervix, low plane of nutrition, hormonal imbalance, mycotoxins, increase in plasma urea nitrogen may cause the failure of ovulation, Also reception of ova and sperm viability in female reproductive tract.
